                Brian Bucina, DO

 Dr. Bucina is a Board-Certified Surgeon with extensive experience in general , laparoscopic, and endoscopic procedures. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University and was inducted into the College of Science, engineering, and Technology Hall of Fame.  Dr. Bucina completed medical school at Midwestern University and residency training at Michigan State University where he was appointed Chief Resident. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University and the University of Arizona College of Medicine.  Dr. Bucina is Co-Chair of the Department of Surgery at Little Colorado Medical Center and Medical Director of the Wound Care Clinic as a Certified Woun Specialist Physician through the American Board of Wound Management.

          Carmen Garcia-Garza, FNP

    Family Nurse Practitioner

Carmen Garcia-Garza, FNP-C is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner from Houston, Texas.  She became a Registered Nurse in 1989 with an Associate degree in Nursing from Galveston College and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree with High Honors in 2007 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.  She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing Degree with a Major in Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas State University in Round Rock, Texas.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is fluent in Spanish.  Her nursing career covers the whole life span from premature babies to the elderly.  As empty nesters, her and her husband moved to Winslow to serve the community and explore the beautiful landscapes of Arizona.  


Al Such, PA-C

Al Such, PA-C, started his physician assistant career in Open Heart Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, in 1997.  He eventually changed to Orthopaedic and Adult reconstructive Surgery also at the Cleveland Clinic.  Al then worked at Kaiser Permanente in Cleveland in General Orthopaedics, along with hand and upper extremity surgery.  In 2002, Al secured a position with Northern Arizona Orthopaedics in Flagstaff, practicing orthopaedic surgery which included adult reconstruction, orthopaedic trauma and some sports medicine.  Al spent many years in the subspecialty of spine, resulting in a broad, comprehensive medical kmowledge and skill set of orthopaedics. 

Al will also be working in our Wound Care Clinic seeing patients on a regular basis with Dr. Brian Bucina.  

In his spare time, Al likes spending time with his family.  Al also devotes time to three different areas of volunteer work in the community.
