Dale Norton, FNP
Dale began his journey into healthcare after becoming a volunteer firefighter in real community in 1990. They paid for his initial EMT training and certification. He then discovered that he really enjoyed helping people as an EMT and wanted to do more. In 1994, he became an IEMT and started working full-time for an ambulance company in rural Arizona. In 1995 he became a certified paramedic and continue working as a full-time paramedic. In late 2001 he began work as a paramedic in Winslow Arizona full-time. At first, he commuted for EMS shifts but eventually bought a house in Winslow and began attending NPC for nursing. In 2013 Dale completed his associates degree in nursing at NPC in Winslow. Shortly after acquiring his nursing license in the summer 2013, he began work at Little Colorado Medical Center as a registered nurse. While working as an RN, he continued to work on the ambulance full-time until June 1, 2014 and continued to do part-time shifts until 2017 as a paramedic. While working as a RN he did online courses at University of Texas at Arlington and completed his Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2019. He continued to work at LCMC as a RN primarily in the emergency department. In the fall 2019 he attended Grand Canyon University to become a family nurse practitioner and performed his clinicals at LCPO and in LCMCs emergency department. Words from Dale:
To say this has been an incredible journey in healthcare for over 30 years is not understatement. What started off as something to do in my off time to help people has grown into a full-fledged career. I have been blessed with great support system with my family and friends. They encouraged me in my journey of life-long learning and achieving my goals. I grew up and have lived in rural Arizona my entire life and am grateful to be able to help take care of the people that live in the same community. My wife Kathy along with our three chihuahuas have called Winslow home for almost 2 decades. She has tolerated the stress of school along with a career change and has encouraged me throughout this. I look forward to helping care for my neighbors and friends where we live today and in the future.

Jessica, FNP-C is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who recently transitioned roles from a Registered Nurse - she worked at LCMC Emergency Department for 10 years. Jessica, FNP-C started her medical career as a Medical Transcriptionist in 1999 working for LCMC and then transcribing for Dr. Greenwood shortly after he returned to Winslow. Once aspiring to be a pediatrician and realizing that transcription wasn't what she wanted to do forever, she decided to return to school. She then became a CNA and worked as a CNA while in nursing school, transitioned to LPN, and then to RN, graduating from Northland Pioneer College, all while raising her growing family. Realizing that she could help people of all ages and with encouragement from friends, family, and colleagues, she decided to further her education through Grand Canyon University and eventually earned her master's degree which allowed her to transition into her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This also fulfilled her aspiration of working with the pediatric population as she is now able to see all ages across the lifespan. Jessica, FNP-C was born in Oklahoma, raised in Winslow, and lives locally with her husband.
